A handful of cookies are needed for this website to function: they keep a session together, remember the choice you made in the cookie banner and allow a form to submit. These are set when you arrive and cannot be turned off without breaking something on the page.
Beyond those, the site uses analytics to see which pages are read and where visitors leave, so that weak pages can be rewritten. Analytics cookies are placed only after you accept them in the banner. This site sets no advertising cookies of its own and does not pass your browsing to an ad network for retargeting.
Two things on a page may set cookies that are not ours. The registration platform that issues visitor and exhibitor badges sets its own when it loads, and so does an embedded video if one is present. Those are governed by the provider's policy rather than by this page. Registration data is covered by the privacy policy, which is the document to read if your question is about what happens to your details rather than about your browser. Clearing cookies at any time is done in your browser settings.
