Exhibit at Megawatt Kenya 2027
12-14 May 2027 · Bomas International Convention Centre, Nairobi
How space is sold
Stands at Megawatt Kenya are sold by MIE Events directly rather than through a reseller network, so an enquiry reaches the team that controls the Bomas floorplan. One written message with three things in it is enough to start: what you manufacture or distribute, the equipment you intend to put on the stand, and the floor area that equipment needs.
The reply carries a position on the plan together with the rates that apply to it. Treat any figure quoted before then as indicative rather than fixed. The 2027 floorplan is still being finalised, and a position is locked once the contract is in.
If you are still weighing the show against other events in the region, ask how the hall is divided by product group rather than for a headline attendance figure. An exhibitor is placed beside the companies a buyer is already comparing, and that is a more useful test of whether the floor fits what you sell.
What comes with a stand
A position on the plan
Your location is allocated against the Bomas floorplan in the order contracts come in, and the sales team sends the current plan out with the rates.
A listing in the directory
Your company appears in the exhibitor directory on this site, naming the products a buyer would search for rather than a general description.
Promotion done for you
The visitor campaign and the buyer invitations are the organiser's work. You bring the products; MIE Events brings the people who specify them.
One build-up document
The exhibitor manual gathers the build deadlines, the power available at the stand and the freight steps for bringing equipment into Kenya.
Exhibitor questions
Is the floorplan final?
Not yet. The 2027 plan is still being finalised. The sales team sends the version current on the day you ask, and a position offered against an early version can move before contracts are exchanged.
What kind of equipment goes on the floor?
Generation such as solar and wind systems, the equipment that carries and protects power — transformers, switchgear, cables, storage — and the metering and monitoring that accounts for it, along with the efficiency products that sit beside them.
Can I run a live demonstration?
Yes, but say so at enquiry stage. A working unit changes the power supply, the position and sometimes the height you need, so it has to be planned into the stand rather than added after arrival.
