What is on the floor at Megawatt Kenya 2027
Four groups, one hall
Megawatt Kenya is built around four product groups rather than a single technology, because a project in this market buys generation, the equipment that carries and protects it, and the meters that account for it in the same procurement round.
The groups below are the ones the 2027 edition is being built around, and stands are allocated inside them — so a visitor looking for metering starts in one part of the hall instead of walking all of it. Where a product could sit in two groups, the sales team places it with the buyers most likely to come looking for it.
The groups themselves are settled. The companies inside each one are still being finalised, and the exhibitor directory on this site is where the confirmed names appear.
The product groups
Group 01
Solar energy
Modules, inverters, mounting systems, rooftop and ground-mount installations.
Group 02
Wind power generation
Turbines, towers, blades, and the service side of wind assets.
Group 03
Power equipment
Generators, transformers, switchgear, cables, storage and industrial power.
Group 04
Energy measurement
Metering, monitoring, SCADA and the systems that account for supply.
Where power meets plant
A power project is not only electrical. Pumps, treatment plant and the water side of an industrial site are specified by the same engineering teams that choose switchgear, and they are bought on the same trip. That is why equipment for water treatment and pumping is shown beside the electrical groups rather than in a separate hall: an installer sizing a borehole pump and a substation is usually the same visitor.
If your product sits on that boundary — a packaged treatment unit, a pump set, a control panel that serves both — say so when you enquire, because it decides which group you are placed in.
